Boopsie makes a great defense attorney.

I’m so glad we don’t have this nonsense anymore. Tobacco is waaay more harmful.

I can remember when this one first ran. Laughed then, laughing now!

They did a good job in California of making it both legal to sell, but also so difficult and expensive to do it legally, that they didn’t change much as still easier to get from illegal sellers.

Easier to buy a gun in one of the red states, than buy something that doesn’t harm others.

Unlike other drugs, alcohol, or tobacco, pot isn’t lethal or even harmful. If bought on the street though it can be laced with fentanyl or other killers. Kudos to the states that have legalized it!

She’s my favorite character.

I wonder how much influence this cartoon thread contributed to getting us to now, where states are legalizing pot? Doonesbury has been a slow, subtle, positive influence on society, not just Zonker’s pot, but Mark’s homosexuality, and Ginny’s political aspirations. (Probably others too)

Zonker has the advantage of being an essential employee.

Their little girl grew up reasonably normal with Zonker supervising her entire childhood.
