It warmed my heart to hear my first wife tell me she had no regrets about how she has lived her life. I feel the same way. I don’t spend time imagining the infinite possibilities; I have good solid memories of the different times when I have tried many things with varying degrees of success.

You could have been Pommes Lyonnaises, Earl, but you married Opal and her cooking. Now you’re just a dud spud.
