Decades ago hubby and I had to trek through deep snow to a gas station. Took our little wire-hair terrier with us, thinking (as young as we were) that she’d enjoy the outing. Then I noticed the blood in the snow. I did a quick about-face and carried her home while hubby continued the mission. Poor little pupkins. Ya gotta keep an eye on ’em!

We all need help occasionally, and it’s alright to ask.

Beach sand, my dog stopping every few paces to dig the sand out between her pads. And yes I carry her to the water if it is a hot day.

-24C here this morning. I carry him to the tree, and carry him back inside.
All 42 pounds of him.
The doberman can walk himself. His feet seem to be so much tougher.

No wonder we all love this strip. Friend wrote down to -30o north of Duluth, strong hearty people.

If we all walked barefoot in the snow and ice we’d understand.

Oh for the love of Mike, sometimes just the simple, innate kindness shown in Overboard, can get me through the day.

Just by looking at them, you can feel the love Louie and Nate have for each other. Chip, you’re the best.
