Preheat oven to 350 degrees. When bread is thoroughly flattened, turn off oven and serve in bowls.
That’s not how it works.
There’s at least one version of canapes like pigs in blankets that call for doing this with a fluffy loaf like Wonder bread. Flatten, wrap. toast gently.
