It’s okay to listen to the town idiot for fun. As long as you don’t believe what he, or she, or it, or they say. Also, don’t call them an idiot. Better not laugh either. …maybe just watch bugs bunny reruns and drink your coffee. Okay?

Oddly enough, there is some truth in what she says. I’ve been doing a Facebook Live worship service and at first I had a few to watch, but as I got more into my heretical side, what I often remind the folks about, I’ve seen my base go up significantly. Of course, you still have to deal with truth, too, while you’re bashing the traditional understanding. Jesus was a lot like that, especially with his principle adversaries in his own branch of Pharisees.
