Girls (other than possibly Charlene) can’t understand guy’s love of old pickup trucks, I have an old 72 pickup in fairly good shape , but because it’s a diesel California won’t register anymore.
The PU is a approximation of 56-57 Chevy or GMC. Learned to drive on my father’s GMC. V8, three on the tree, in the 60s. It was one of the coolest trucks and is rare classic today.
My husband has a 1966 Chevy C10 white and sea foam green with a gorgeous white oak bed that he restored himself. It has heat and a radio as the only options. My father bought it new in 1966, and my husband bought it from him shortly after we married. The gas tank was behind the seat which was a safety issue in the event of a crash, so he put in another tank under the bed. For a long time it was his every day vehicle but now he only dives it occasionally. It is beautiful for a truck!
If you buy a catalytic converter sized for the engine I am sure it would pass the exhaust snorkel test as the properly sized catalytic converter will only create carbon dioxide and water vapor. MAgnaflow has a diesel exhaust converter for $249.00.
I am a female who is interested in trucks – specifically older trucks built to do real work. When I retire, I plan on moving out to the country (WV), buying land, building a home and plan on hauling a lot of stuff (mostly wood). I will need a real truck for that. I love the look of the Fords. I currently have a Dodge Grand Caravan, and as much as people talk against them, I just love mine, unfortunately it is not built for hauling a lot (not a powerful enough engine or strong enough frame). It is a 2010 and I bought it in 2014. It has run great for me. So a Dodge Pickup might also work, but not newer pickups – for either Fords or Dodges. Got to be older. When they were REAL trucks.

It took me a moment to get the “99” references…until I remembered that’s his uniform number…

The truck looks like a ’59 Chevy Apache, and Robb did a great job on it!

That car has probably been in the family for decades or even centuries.

The semi looks new, and the pick up is way old. Also, that means Marcus has a CDL…

Marcus is supposed to be notoriously cheap, and I thought he kept that truck not out of a love for it but because he didn’t want to buy another one.

Love old trucks. The new crap that’s out today won’t last.

Can he drive it into the semi while it’s moving? That’s a dream of anyone who’s ever seen Knight Rider.
locake almost 3 years ago
That is very expensive lately with the higher gas prices.

Dude, spend some NFL money. Clay Matthews just listed his Camarillo, CA, mansion for sale.

Only two pickups I’d ever have would be a 66 El Camino, and a 1936 Plymouth.
