Used to regularly give a box full to a local church that sent it troops deployed over seas to Iraq and Afghanistan. Now I give it to the YWCA for their domestic violence escape program.
For about 15 years, I worked on projects that involved frequent travel — a short trip every 4-6 weeks — so I accumulated a lot of little soaps, lotions, shampoos. When I retired, I donated most to the local women’s shelter but kept some for guests. I’m sensitive about people having their own soaps, particularly after the Friends episode that involved sharing soap in the shower and other bathroom appliances.
While it may not be printed on the little bottles, shampoos and conditioners do have expiration dates. Those little bottles should be donated to someone else noted to violence, protection programmes.
I collect OTC drugs when they are on sale. Periodically, I have to go through that drawer to throw out the ones I forgot gave me unacceptable side effects. :)

In that medicine cabinet, like he would have 1,825 each bottles of shampoo and bars of soap if he uses one each thereof per day.

Pluggers might have been cutting pretty deeply into their supply in the past few years.

My wife needs three little bottles of shampoo to wash her hair, so we never have leftovers.

I wouldn’t have thought that a plugger had so much money for staying in hotels that often.

The local online auction site intermittently has cases of single soap, conditioner, and shampoo for those of us that haven’t been in a motel in years.

Lately I’ve been in hotels that have bulk body soap & shampoo dispensers, no more little bottles.
