Arlo is a master of the quick reply. His love of Janis knows no bounds. If she were mine I would be the same-what a catch.

Arlo, I just noticed you’r getting old. Maybe you need to workout a little.

Just get INTO shape, maybe?

Loose and flowing can be nice, too.

Why is Janis’ head on my body? And how did I go from size 4 to this ??? Getting old is not for the faint of heart but on the bright side I can say things and people think I’m being a crazy old lady. Life Is Good !!!!!

Attitude is everything and I like Arlo’s attitude.

He has tenure – you can’t cut him off.

Acceptance is the most valuable response to aging. Some things can be changed temporarily but the process marches on. My hair is thin and wispy and it doesn’t bother me.

Gone are those wild days of our youth, but when she and I have to take care of one another, and really just say, “I Love You.” Well thank the Man Upstairs, we still have one another.

Isn’t that a good prejudice?……

It’s always refreshing to read something that shows how a loving relationship grows.Granted, we may view ourselves as not being ‘sexy’ any more, but we hardly ever see things through the eyes of the people closest to us.

As for flowing, how about a river???

How about a compromise? Janis picks the daywear and Arlo can pick some of the nightwear.

Having developed a tummy of my own, I can say that tight and clingy is definitely not figure flattering for me. Unfortunately, loose and flowing often isn’t either. Figure-skimming clothing with a little structure seems to do best.

I’d rather see loose clothing on a person, than tight clothing that shows rolls of fat. I’m female though.

I prefer nudity. It scares off burglars. Oh, you meant HER….

If “vested” is supposed to be a pun…

Why does she keep the clothes if she can’t wear them – why not have clothes she can wear?

Been married 42 years, engaged for 2 before that, dated for 4 years before that, knew each other 2 years before that. At our wedding friends were taking bets on how many days we would last.

On paper we do not go together – different religions, different ethnic backgrounds, my family is “girls can do anything” and his family is “women stay home while their husband works”.

Over the decades we have both worked and the past 10 or so years he has stayed home and worked on his craft and I have gone out to work as he was burned out from work. His parents would be appalled.

Biggest bump in the road in all of this – his family kept a bar at the kitchen sink to use when washing hands there, mine just used some dish soap – solution – put a bar of soap at the kitchen sink.
