Red Bull holds a paper air plane competition. It always looks like it be a blast to attend.

Spud’s would go backwards. And he hurt himself in the effort!

So because of its return flight, Spuds actually flew twice as far as anyone else’s…

This is why serious model glider competitions (like at the TSA) measure loft time, not distance.

Spud’s design is aerobatic, that should be worth bonus points.

That’s a kind of magic too.

Good thing the teacher’s wearing glasses! Just in case..

I wonder if Spud will be asking to go to the school nurse for some ice.

Spud’s went farther than I thought it would.

Actually, Spud’s plane went twice as far as everyone else’s.

What about measuring distance in how far the airplane traveled, not where it landed?

We all know Wallace will win. It’s the creativeness that has us on pins and needles. Also waiting for Amelia’s flight. It might be a tossup. (See what I did there?)

that happen when the plane isn’t folded properly and weight is unevenly distributed. it flips over smoothly and glides back? how do i know this? science.
