Smoooooth as glass!
And he really wants to see more of her.
It’s the nose, women are always a pushover for a prominent nose.
“If I told you that you have a great body, would you hold it against me”?
I love the candle in the wine bottle!

You’ll want to pick up that line you just dropped, A.
What happened to the candle in panel four? Arlo has his elbows on the table, do you suppose he knocked the candle off of the table?
Open foot, insert mouth!
Nailed the ’70s small pizza joint, from the thick mug style beer glass, to the cheesy candle in the old chianti bottle covered in wax.
I’m feeling nostalgic for that booth with the privacy panel; or where I could take a nap (and not fall onto the floor when we’d squish in 3-4 across.)
I think Sade wrote a song about Arlo!
…. It’s a good thing he has specified what.
Is he wearing a hat or is that a lamp? It keeps getting higher as the comic goes along.
I’m loving this series.
Love this one
I’m enjoying this arc. But I remember not too long ago there was an arc where they met at a college party. Can’t find it though.

Jimmy, I for on am really loving the origin story! I hope it continues a long time! Really fun to see them young, and before they had Gene. Thanks again for all of the wonderful strips over the years!
So Arlo is that all you really wanted to see?
Hemingway said the way to know if you can trust someone is to trust them.
I replied to fej above. This is JJ’s first introduction of Arlo to Janis. Slightly different but the same stache and borrowing heavily from GWTW.

I wonder what her response would have been, had he told her what he told his buddy? Flattered, or shattered?
