As Wildcat Maris looks on from his Maris Industries 3rd story suite behind the right field wall of venerable Milford Park, he contemplates a season of small ball verses warning track power. Kaz’s sideburn is like this developing story. Scruffy.
In honor of this pending storyline, Dr. Minnie Pearl has instructed Janitor Steve Luhm to hang bunting on front of Milford HS. The exasperated beatnik wannabe prefers to pull mop up duty.
In all reality , who holds the Major League record for getting hit with a pitch the most times in their career , Scooby-Doo ? It’s Scooter coach ,good question , Anyone , Anyone !
If he WAKs the ball when bunting, if he ever connects on a full swing he’ll probably break the sound barrier. And speaking of connecting, make sure you are connecting to the internet so that you can read today’s issue of Mopped Up Thorp.
I guess he can always claim that “record” at the end of the year because nobody on any team is keeping track of “perfect bunts”. Bunts maybe, but there isn’t a panel of judges flashing scores after one is attempted.

This isn’t really trivia, it’s just records you can look up on Baseball Reference. Try “Who was killed by a pitch?” Or “How did Ed Delahanty die?”

Not you, since it appears that this one will bounce foul before it reaches first base.

It’s not a perfect bunt if one is hitting the bottom third of the ball, as he is doing. He should be hitting the top half of the ball.

With his jaw guard on the wrong side I would throw him a fast ball up and in. “Scooter, what is chin music?”

Most games played by a MLB second baseman was by Eddie Collins, followed by the better know Joe Morgan.

Don’t much about 2nd Basemen, but I know it was a 3rd Baseman that scored four errors in a single play.
