Is Coffyhead drinking coffee from a saucer plate?!!

Coffyhead was a not quite convincing grotesque, and his story ended in a famously goofed up prison break where “Lugi” supposedly died, at least acvording to the newspaper Mumbles was reading immediately after. If this Lugi or Luigi did not die maybe the newspaper was wrong. I didn’t think Coffyhead was worthy of repechage, is Mike going bottom of the barrel? Why not some new villain for a change?

Coffyhead was a fence for goods stolen by juvenile gangs, and his busines was disrupted by Junior’s Crimestopper Club. For this Coffeepothead tried to kill Junior and another boy. Now it seems that Coffeemughead is peddling drugs. Bud didn’t he reform according to an old MAC story?

Yeah. Forgot about that posting. The city is not far from here. There was a 1965 white Chevy sedan parked behind the Dominoes Pizza shop downtown, with no plates and likely abandoned. I slept in it one night with the “usual crew”. They were sleeping one off and about 4 in the morning two officers approached the car and started beating on the roof with their nightsticks. Me, not drinking, wasn’t affected but them other three boys were pretty groggy and irritated to be up so early.

I wonder if Coffinghead knows this is not the real Tonsils. You would think he would have heard about his death back when it happened. By the calm and cool look I would say our boy finally has a decent cuppa joe.

Tonsils is who he really is? I wouldn’t exactly agree, but I guess this gives Coffyhead a chance to target him, if he wants to do that. I don’t think he has enough reason to do that, but maybe he’ll think differently.

This is actually the first time we’ve seen Coffyhead drinking coffee since this arc began in what seems like ages ago.

I tried to capture the excitement of Mike’s original in my Alt Take today. I believe I succeeded…

Is someone “ghosting” or “assisting” shelly? (or did she get new software?) That art style seems to be smoother and cleaner with the beginning of this storyline…

Correct me if I am wrong. Coffyhead has a warehouse full of product: He’s obviously a big buyer.

But, I can’t figure out if he is at the top or the middle or the bottom of the distribution chain. If Coffyhead is the buyer here then he needs Tonsils2 in order to purchase the product he distributes..

Tonsils2 is quitting the drug business, so he does not need Coffyhead after fulfilling this final order? As Tonsils2 said, Coffy needs to find a new supplier.

How does killing or doing anything to Tonsils2 solve Coffyhead’s problem? It doesn’t. It compounds his crimes and he would still have to find a new supplier.It would likely expose him to the police and would be a really dumb move for a guy who should be trying to lay low.

But where it seems to be confusing to me is that Tonsils2 seems like he may have been at the top of the distribution chain, selling large quantities to large-quantity buyers, but he had to get it either from some bigger boss or directly from the cartels.. Why doesn’t Coffy go directly to the source? They don’t want to lose out on his large-quantity buys. I’m sure they could provide him with a new supplier for such large amounts..

what surprises me is that the cartels are not leaning on Tonsils2 to either stop him from quitting or silence him because he knows too much.They are the ones who have actual motive to kill Tonsils2. Coffyhead is just venting his temper. He got his full order from Tonsil2. Finding a new supplier might be inconvenient but with the amount he purchases, it would probably not be difficult.

What’s next? Coffeyhead and his comrade place the word Tonsils in a search engine on their computer. Behold…they get his real name.

Aside from the typical “I hate DIck Tracy” mindset,why didCoffyhead come back to Tracy’s town when he could run his racket from any big city;at least from what we’ve seen so far?

Well,next week we should get some details.

When the climax comes,I’d like to see Junior get in on it.Coffy tried to poison gas him when he was a kid,but he’s a grown man now.

And when will we finally get a NEW “Crimestoppers” group?Plenty of honest,young material around.

The plot thickens (more than day-old coffee would, even). There is no “hiding in plain view” on TV, Matt McCullar should have realized. He has by his unrestrained quest for his Fifteen Minutes of Fame more likely made himself a target and possibly Dead Fish Dead. What a sorry tune this ’toon has turned out to be for neo-Tonsils!

I had no idea this many people read Dick Tracy online daily.
