Oh how I would love to see a flurry of legal suits in Florida brought by someone whose kid was exposed to Het grooming. A teacher called on the carpet for talking about she and her husband. Some story about a princess and a handsome prince resulting in a lawsuit. The unintended consequences of a silly law not thought through.

And I just saw that Alabama passed a law REQUIRING teachers to out any transgender students to their parents! So teachers, who are not allowed to discipline unruly students or correct their parented bigotry, are now expected to know the student better than their own parents and report said student to the very parents who do not care enough to know them themselves??

A former GOP staffer and Republican National Committee aide who admitted to being part of a ring that traded child pornography involving babies was sentenced Thursday to more than 12-and-a-half years in prison Thursday.

Ruben Verastigui, 29, received the 151-month sentence from U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta during a hearing held via video conference, according to an announcement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.

Verastigui was a digital strategist for the RNC in 2017 and 2018, working on social media advertising for political committees backing former President Donald Trump, according to Verastigui’s LinkedIn page. The digital strategist also worked for the Senate Republican Conference and for a nonprofit group called Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions. An anti-abortion activist originally from San Antonio, Verastigui spoke at the March for Life in Washington in 2013, according to a video clip posted online.

Best toon of the year by anybody I’ve seen! (Of course, it’s only April…..) I happened to be born straight yet I had as much personal control over that as I did about having my distant ancestors being born in the first place. How hard, really, is it to understand that ALL people who are straight could as equally likely been born gay (it not being their choice or under their control) and all people who are gay or bi been born straight? Dammit, people is people is people and NO person should ever be discriminated against. (Also, Death Sentence is probably gay himself, like Josh Hawley is…..)

Ectually, “the Bible” doesn’t say much of anything about homosexualty, apart from a feverish passage in Romans, where Paul inexplicably says that God “drove” men to such behavior. The famous verse in Leviticus actually says, in Hebrew, “a man must not lie with a man on the bed of a woman”, whatever that’s supposed to mean. And the infamous “Sin of Sodom”, which is mentioned a number of times in both Testaments, was actually Overweening Pride and callous Inhospitality. And the alleged Sodom perverts who were making apparently indecent demands about some angels were perfectly content, when they got nowhere, to screw a young girl to death instead. Odd behavior for homosexuals.

I highly recommend everyone watch last night’s Law and Order episode to see what is coming from the far right. Except, of course, that episode was written like it was the early 2000s and not 2022 where deepfakes are rampant. Oh, and of course, the bad Faux News personality will never get his comeuppance in the end. We’re heading to the point where every single Democrat is a pedophile who must be killed by the “brave patriots” or just elect Republicans to everything and they’ll gas them “for the good of the country”.

Imagine a studied Christian like Linus trying to imply that sodomy is no longer a sin.

Linus is a small child. He would not know about it at all. And I’m all for that. I’d like children to be taught the lessons of not throwing stones, not judging, and loving your neighbor. I’d like them and everyone to read scripture to gain insight into their own behavior, not to learn to condemn others.
