Hang in there for spring

Just make sure that the rope is short enough that your feet don’t dangle in the grass

The first sign of spring in Indiana is when the department of transportation starts clogging the lanes with orange barrels.

Today is Saint George’s Day. Saint George is Patron Saint of several countries including England, Ethiopia and Palestine. He is certainly middle eastern in origin and his place of birth may have been in Libya but is more likely to have been in Turkey.

Biggest “Keep off the grass” sign I’ve seen!

I have a sign that says The Taylor’s. I take it down every year around the end of October and put it back up around Easter. The neighbours started calling it the first sign of Spring years ago.

If it had said “You’ll be hung” Rodney would be all over it hoping for the best.

The sign installer could have laid planks to stand on. That way, he wouldn’t actually be on the grass.

So the ground keeper is an exMarine. Do even think about what happens if you put foot prints in his sand box.

Well in ID they do kill the messenger and sign painters ??? Oh the joy of Spring!

I’m not sure if I have ever seen a “keep off the grass” sign IRL. “No trespassing”, “Beware of dog”, sure, but no “keep off the grass”.

Wait… peasants can read?

“Hanged” is the correct conjugation in this context. “Hung” is what you use when referring to curtains or Christmas stockings, etc.
