I think its easy to get Lucy to do or think something; just get Chuck to say something is a good idea and she will hate it or vice versa and if Chuck says he thinks Lucy should not do something it is almost certain she will do it with enthusiasm.
This dynamic often also can be applied to parents and their teenagers if they are in their “rebel” mode though from my experience teens grow up and out of this stage once they get a taste of the “real world” but I suspect Lucy will always regard Chuck as a “born loser” to be diametrically opposed to.
