Making a difference in mathematical terms would = ‘The World’ – ‘A Cat’. Where else can I go with this new ‘Make a Difference’ power. Oh! I see. YOU! OVER THERE! I got you’re ‘Make a Difference’ right here.
I once dodged a meeting at work by saying “Sure, add me to the invite. You know how much I love criticizing the work of others.”Funny how I never got added to that invite.
Yep, so many people walk past litter on the street, point and tut-tut, instead of picking it up. I once ran for an advisory board position in a college town on a “clean up” campaign. I didn’t talk about the litter problem; I cleaned up all the vacant lots in my district personally. Unfortunately, I was beaten by an opponent who lived in a fraternity house. He used the three-party system against me. They had a party before, during and after the election.

Hmmm…but sometimes people’s curtains ARE ugly.

Instead of “I care, I’m just not going to do anything about it,” Bucky is more like “Oh, I don’t care and here’s what YOUR going to do about it.”

In this story arc, Bucky represents the concept of slacktivism.

Honestly, who hasn’t known at least one person that is as generously willing to help as Bucky is today?

Cats DO make a difference. They take up space and consume resources.

Actually, maybe not just complaining; check your curtains!

I have to admit the world could use a little improvement. Probably needs Chubby Huggs more than Bucky.

Bucky’s observations are an inconvenient truth for Rob. But necessary, nonetheless.
