Urea? Moby Dick in the prairie? Explanation, please, anyone. I remember a Disney cartoon from when I was little of a whale singing Shortninā€™ Bread. Maybe itā€™s related.

I think the reference here is to the ā€œvocalizationsā€ in whale song. Thatā€™s all Iā€™ve got.

Googling ā€œUreonā€ā€¦. the only thing I found is that according to a huge ā€œStar Trekā€ wiki, thereā€™s a (presumably obscure) starship(?) of that name:

ā€œThe Ureon is a Warbarge Dreadnought in service to the Orion Syndicate in 2409. "

If that has anything to do with itā€¦ it could explain ā€œON the Ureonā€ ā€¦ but not much else, IMHO.

I see no mention of a whale thereā€¦ but since I donā€™t know all the jargon, I couldnā€™t say for sure.

    Maybe itā€™s ā€œrangeā€ in whale-song? Donā€™t know; I donā€™t speak whale.

First thing my wife said to me this morning: ā€œNobodyā€™s going to get your cartoon today.ā€ The ā€˜you idiotā€™ part was implied.

It would sound much better than a bowl of petunias singing ā€œOh, No, Not Again.ā€

I speak whale. Not sure why the whale is singing about ā€œHome, home on the ovenā€, though.

Thereā€™s a great deal of satisfaction in getting an obscure joke when most others donā€™t. Or so I hear. Iā€™ve never experienced it. Here, either.
