This is definitely not all Peter’s fault (for not cutting the branch). Thor should have been aware that branch was there. Considering it’s size, the branch did not suddenly appear. It’s been there for many years.

Anyone who spends time biking forest trails, will verify that fallen trees can be surprising.

Though, even if this tree were some fast growing variety, the fork limb had to have been there for some time. The driver should’ve ducked. Maybe the driver missed the “Low Branch” warning.

Asking for logic in a comic about an unlikely history seems a little . . . somehow . . . well you know
