I heard a great comment on Science Friday today. Terra forming Mars is a terrible idea. Just look at the lousy job we’ve done terra forming Earth.

Terra forming Mars is gonna be easy. Once we get there all we have to do is find the alien reactor and start it up.

A Genesis device might take care of those pesky scorpions.

They’re intelligent scorpions with a highly advanced civilization. But we want their world so we’ll kill most of them off and confine the rest to reservations on land so ugly it’s worthless to us. (And if we later find gold there, we’ll steal that land and give the bupkis.)

Don’t mess with Soorpios.

Venus is very promising. Just gotta do something with that nasty, crushing, scorching hot atmosphere.

It’s a whole planet. Are you sure there aren’t any other continents that maybe aren’t infested with giant scorpions?

Worst part of going to a doctor is that they all seem to have these annoying shows on. I honestly don’t get the appeal.

Apparently they didn’t research enough before they got there.

It does remind us of the daunting prospect that we may one day have to “terraform” Earth.

Kids be like “mom can we keep the giant scorpion?”

The indigents aren’t taking kindly to having their planet flipped.

Isn’t that called terraforming?

K-Type stars are orange dwarves, and whereas their prevalence and stability might make them possible candidates for planets with life as we know it, they are also thought to emit high levels of X-rays and ultraviolet radiation, particularly in their youngest stages of development.

That brings to mind an interesting concept: instead of just terraforming, how about helioforming as well??
