The fact is that B.O. Plenty talks a bit too much, but he can cover for the both of them. The radio station transmitter is coming up in the distance.

Nothing like machinery and sports to get the menfolk talkin’. I seriously suspect Mr. Mem’ry has much more reverence for tech than simple country folk like B.O., who save up all their consarn its and dagnabbits for when equipment don’t go t’ their likin’.

It’s not the same thing, B.O!

Were I in the car I might take the, ‘I prefer to talk with machines, not people’ as a cue and shut up. But Mike is doing this for the purpose of discovery (revealing details to the reader) so look for something important for the plot.

I know B.O. Plenty is suppose to provide hillbilly comedic relief for the strip but the lame humor is really cringe worthy.

For a guy that can’t remember Macy’s name, Bob is doing pretty well remembering Mr Memory’s

“And frankly, I’m regretting an incessant talking chatterbox like you a lift. I’m focusing on some secluded spot to ditch the corpse.”

After letting him out when they reach the city, Mr. Memory says I am so glad that my owl does not talk. Not a hoot (bad pun) out of it.

If B.O. thinks he’s getting the silent treatment now, he should be glad he didn’t end up with our villain’s English cousin, Mr. Mummery….

The second Mike Killian story after he took over from Collins was about a sniper who specialized in targeting minority groups.(And committed suicide when confronted with a shootout in broad daylight).

I wonder if that story could make it into print today.

Smallish B.O. Plenty fits comfortably into Memory’s little car (which in panel 2 looks much more Like a Mini Cooper than any other make with which I am familiar), whereas Mr. Memory himself seems compressed, rather like Ape, in Ferret’s car (more like a KIA Soul) in the recent Yeti arc.

While B.O. is a bit of a chatterbox, he is not insensitive to Memory’s preference for silence. Maybe he will soon be let out with no dire mishap along the way….
