and just why do they want to crash the Goodyear blimp?
So many restriction on amateur launches these days.
These boys don’t usually wear ball caps, so their selections here are noteworthy. Marcus opts for the JPL (Jet Propulsion Lab) cap and Jason dons a cap with what looks like a Star Trek emblem. Shoot for the stars, boys!
Wonder why? Not.
I wonder how one goes about getting a job as a blimp pilot.
Those boys grew up to be my nerdy, brilliant husband and his nerdier, and even more brilliant, best friend.
yeah, what gives with that. :D
Think it might have anything to do with those mini SAMs?
Does it come to any town anymore?
If the rocket isn’t at least an E16-6, why bother?
In 1990 some idiot flew a radio-controlled model plane into one of the blimps. That was an expensive prank for the idiot.
I live about 50 miles from Akron. The Goodyear Blimp is a common sight.
Jason should aim higher than bringing down blimps. How about space shuttles?
Aha yes it reminds me of my care free youth on the plains of NE where my friends and I shot rockets into space, even had a mouse or two in them.
I figure their neighborhood alone is restricted airspace by now.
