Okay, now it’s personal. Actually, it was always technically personal, but now it’s the bad kind of personal.

Marigold, you’ve got some splainin to do!

My mother was a staunch advocate of doing your own school work… except when it came to doing something arty, then she pitched right in. But if any of us had showed her that F and explained what happened… she’d have been talking to that teacher within minutes… and it WOULD be corrected.

Must be a dream.

Monday in the 4th of July, and Pheobe is still in school?

Did Marigold sign her name to it? How else would the teacher know?

First Dakota, now the teacher…what’s going on?!

At least Mrs. Wormwood gave Calvin an A when Hobbes wrote Calvin’s paper. This teacher is just irrational.

Careful with those F ’s, Phoebe; you’ll wind up repeating this school grade next year .. and the year after that .. and the year after that ..

You know, unicorn horns are probably worth a lot of money, Phoebe. Just sayin’.

This is plain unfair. Look more and more like a nightmare.

I think this is all a nightmare brought on my Phoebe having a fear that everything she ‘is’ is due to Marigold.

I guess that’s the last straw for Phoebe.

Okay, yeah, something’s definitely up here. I’m starting to wonder if something magical is on the fritz somewhere, because it seems unlikely Marigold would really take this THIS far (at least not intentionally).

May be it’s Marigold’s dream.

Almost sound like my HS English teacher, it didn’t matter if I took a lot of time to write my report or did it quick …….. I’d get a C ! Years later I was on a job and saw my teacher (he was doing something different), we said all the niceties and then I asked him, why did I always get a C on my reports …………. he laughed then told me it was because he couldn’t read my writing and as long as I had a first page and a last page he gave me a C. I said I wish he had told me that, then ….. he said if he had that I’d probably just do the two pages and blank pages for the rest ….. I had to agree with him, knowing me I would have done just that !

I’m thinking the Shield of Boringness has somehow infected Phoebe and made people ignore her actions?

Yep, some kind of weird unicorn magic rubbing-off effect, I’m guessing.
