If you got only one chance to make a good impression, then choosing the movie “Attack of the Wart People” over the alternate choice of “Teenage Romance in Summer Vacation” is in my opinion the correct choice. Way to go Michael. You rock this date.

I could not help but notice that the cast of “Attack of the Wart People” are all famous comic artists.

It more than likely cost her more for buying his snacks, that what he spent for her ticket.

Reminds me of one time in college. I picked a young lady up for a first date and asked her where she would like to eat. I was counting on her saying “I don’t care, you decide” like most others. Then I planned to go to Shoneys for the all you can eat buffet. Instead, she said “someplace interesting”. That ruled out Shoneys. That was probably to my advantage as I married her a year later. 34 years later, she still kinda likes me. ;)

Michael you should offer to help out or reduce amount of popcorn. Me on drink’s I want to sit on the aisle seat bathroom would be calling.

NGL i’d totally watch attack of the Wart People. I assume it’d be a b-movie from the looks of it, might even be a rerelease (because of course I look a mite too deeply into a one off gag) but the fun kind.

Attack of the Wart People?? They made a movie about my ex-neighbors!

Well, I haven’t been to a movie theater is a few years, and I’ve purchased something from the snack bar even longer ago than that, but my understanding of how they price things (based on YouTube videos) — HIS gigantic popcorn and jumbo drink probably only cost a dollar more than her small stuff.

Attack of Wart People is one of my all-time favorite movies! Better yet, I like it’s prequel, Attack of the Toad People!

The movie Michael and Rhetta are seeing stars Bill Hoest’s successors of the “Lockhorns”, the creator of “Snuffy Smith”, creator of “Momma”, and the creator of the “Pirahna Club”. (Lynn Johnston had a fascination with other cartoonists, I bet.)
