If your teenager is so often in a bad mood that it is a special occasion when they are in a good mood, that is usually the sign of depression. You should be worried not when they are happy, but because they are never happy. John’s priorities are completely wack-a-doodle.

Maybe he’s thinking that he’ll be graduating soon—and can leave the cuckoo’s nest for good!!

See, I thought Mike’s parents were aware he was going on a date. You’d think John would be able to put two and two together. Or was it just Elly who was aware of it? John does seem pretty oblivious sometimes.

Puppy love?

Part of what I love so much about Lynn’s work is the way she’ll give little bits of business to other characters, in this case April, that have nothing to do with the focus of the strip. It’s just so beautifully observed and exactly how toddlers behave. It’s also what makes the comic so human and involving, IMO.

Getting kissed will do that to a guy. Don’t worry, the other end of that relationship sine wave will hit soon enough and you’ll have all the sour puss you want.

Ah Michael is in “Love” now but all too soon he will learn……….

It’s a shame some people have to troll comics with negative comments just to get replies so they can be “featured”. They might need some actual psychiatric analysis instead psychobabble they put out.
