With all this science and money going towards research and development to make pigs parts interchangeable for human organs I am wondering if bacon is such a good idea.

Last week, a medical team completed the first successful transplant of a genetically altered pig’s heart into a human patient at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

You might also remember him from dinner last night. :)

OMG…this hit home. I have pig heart valve; I’ve had it since 2010. So thanks to the “Mongo” who donated it to me and saved my life.

Mongo was professionally known as Arnold Ziffle.

This is both funny and sad.
