you’re quite the fun grandfather, Earl (if Nelson’s other grandparents are around, I wonder what the grandfather is like)

I know how to make three different kinds. The doubled-blunt nose flies the furthest, and generally in a controllable curve, but (until ithe nose crinkles from too many hits on the wall) the pointer flies the longest and gets the best swoops.

Greatest distance traveled: tightly crumpled up paper wad

Longest time in flight: sheet of paper simply released

I once hit a teacher with a paper airplane.

It is too a paper airplane. Haven’t you ever heard of a wad body plane?

Get up and make Nelson a good one Grandpa!

Was this Earl’s way of making sure that Nelson doesn’t ask him to do anything ever again?

The dontbothermenow design always wins in competitions.

I remember those.

I thought grandpa was going to say “Poof! You’re an airplane”.

Grampa is a jerk.

That’s what I used to do with my cat. I’d wad up the paper and throw it and he would chase it and I would have to retrieve it to throw it again. We’d do that until I got tired.

That was so mean. I can’t stop laughing!

Maybe it’s just a paper balloon?

Or a paper Moon?

Well it did fly better than most of mine.

I was in a “team building” workshop one time and that was our project and that was how I won. My wadded up paper went further than any paper airplanes.

Gimme a sheet to wad for a paper plane

Only got time to make it mundane

Project’s already blown, less than a-croakin’ drone

Nap time, not rap time. Oh, well.
