Dad was given a call to adventure and failed. How sad.

And thatā€™s why we all love this strip, we get to live through them and remember all the fun and silly things we did as kids. Just love their summer time fun!

My 8 YO likes me to turn the sprinklers on when it gets hot (like it will be today) He will spend hours running around the yard in them. At close to 62 I have no problems joining him.

Since when? If we had a sprinkler ā€“ AND a lawn ā€“ I would run through it with my daughters in a heartbeatā€¦and Iā€™m 57. Whenever I take them to the city pool I look around at all of the moms just sitting in their lawnchairs watching their kidsā€¦from inside the pool with my girlsā€¦and pity them.

This grown up still does. DId it this morning watering the grass. Water was cold at 8 a.m., but my dog was giving me the ā€œletā€™s playā€ stand, and so ā€œchase meā€ ran us through the sprinkler at least four times until I slipped on the wet grass. I laughed my head off at myself and my dog just stood beside me, both of us getting soaked.
