Three strikes in one sentence

“You can start immediately.”

My company successfully staved off unions for many years, sometimes with difficulty. All the major unions tried and failed to get in. Our Human Resources (HR) Manager told me that one person she interviewed had listed on his resume, “Union Organizer.” Talk about clueless! Or brazen!

what time is lunch??

Or the old “in six months it’ll go up to 35k” “okay, I’ll start in six months”

Janitors’ assistant? Couldn’t be management at that pay.

Just like his kids.

$28K? Hadda be 40 years ago. Today a guy would laugh then ask, “Is that just for weekends?” and walk.
