Decided to trim his toenails instead. Forgot to take his shoes off.

That’s what happens when you pull the mower backwards too far and run over your shoe.I had a neighbor who did that years ago. The blade whacked off the top of his shoe but missed his toes. He was lucky that that day for sure !

No cutting remarks, please.

My foot decided otherwise.

“0h, I thought you said you ran over some toads. With those thick toenails of yours, I bet you ruined the mower blade!”

He was until it mowed him first.

I always “suit up” to mow the lawn. Broad brimmed hat to protect me from the sun. eye protection, hearing protection, mask (when conditions are dusty), Light colored T-shirt to reflect the heat (also hose it down for extra cooling), water bottle, thick absorbent socks, steel toed boots and … SHORTS.

I prefer to mow the lawn in bare feet.

True story, I have a friend who slipped while mowing the lawn and cut off three toes.

I have similar results from weed-beating. When the weed-beater automatically feeds out line and it catches me on the top of my work boot. It’s almost all the way through to my foot. I’m just glad that I wear my boots to do the job. :P

Something changed his mind, so he decided to read the newspaper instead.

I hate when that happens….and she’s not very observant…..LOL

He fought the lawn and the lawn won.

He obviously put his foot where he should not.

He mowed his foot instead…

He was going to put his foot up her *ss, but now he can’t

He missed….

I admire his ability to suffer in silence. He ruined a good pair of pants, too.

He had a blow out.

Just waiting for the bleeding to stop, dear.

Herman seems to have hurt himself with the lawn mower.
