You really can ruin anything (in your mind) if you just put your mind to it. You don’t even have to try very hard. You can have success – changing a beautiful day into a dreadful day.
Interesting hidden message in the third panel. Are pessimists always shown with red hair and a frown, and are optimists always shown as four eyes nerds wearing glasses?
In another strip, I was commenting on one of the characters finding the positive in the negative…here we have the opposite, seeing the negative in the positive!
I’d have thought there wouldn’t be too much to ruminate over in prehistoric times. But, existential thoughts and middle school trauma just seem to go together.
Ah, Beautiful Day Perfect Sunshine Nice Breeze…. No drought, rain latter today. Remember that great day with Grace. What if this is the start of winter, summer will come again. Think happy thoughts. Life is good.
This is so my husband. He is a “the glass is half empty” sort of guy. If he can find something wrong with it to complain about, he’ll do it. Whereas I am the complete opposite! I guess it’s true that opposites attract! :)

That “awful day” wasn’t really that bad. The hailstones weren’t any bigger than golf balls.
