Here, the original phrasing, “where no man has gone before”, would have worked better. Or better would have worked, if you prefer.

You could make it “no human being” if you wanted, but it’s wordier.

Women’s restroom: “To Boldly go where no man has gone before”

… but that was so long ago.

Star Trek was on TV over a decade before, so Trek wins in my world. Take Yoda, that!
