oh, Earl, now you tell her? what would you like? if a tuna sandwich, Opal would just get you the bread, mayonnaise, tin of tuna, and a can opener and see if you can make it yourself
I would hate to be his age and not be able to cook for myself. My wife and I usually decide on who is cooking by who has the most time to do it or by what we are having. Each of us have our own meals that we are best at. I always cook breakfast. Even when the whole family is here for the holidays. I started teaching myself to cook before I was in high school. My mother would always cook for us and was a great cook, but why wait if you’re hungry.
She probably fixed him a nice evening meal earlier. He is just being obnoxious now. He could just raid the refrigerator. I’m sure there are lots of tasty leftovers.
About 30 years ago I stayed at a youth hostel in Whistler, BC. A Swedish boy put the macaroni and the cheese powder from a box into a pan and heated it without water.

I’m happy to fix you something to eat during normal business hours, Earl. This late go knock yourself out.

If she was in the shower, he would have to make sure that the coast was clear before she got out.

Earl needs to work on his timing. It would be a lot safer.

No Jerky in your night stand? You know she’s got chocolate in hers. In an emergency, lick the crusted supper residue from your mustache.
