On the “Death Ray” thing; Between the iterations of the World War(s), Scientists were actually looking to see if radio waves could become a death ray. Obviously, NO. However, the funding for it did lead to Radar, at least for the Brits. You could say with a degree of credulity that it also evolved into the Microwave, so…

Well we know what happens to Princess Fairyqueen, queen of all the fairy princesses, based on Sunday’s strip. She’s itchy. It’s nice to have the preview of coming events.

Is it just me, or did her mother ALREADY make her that costume a few days ago??? and then threw her sewing machine out of the window when Alice changed her mind?

You know, you’d think it would be impossible to sell American four-year-olds on a six-book, 36,000-line allegorical poem about the virtues of Chastity, Honour, Courage, and Justice (and the battle between Tudor Protestantism and the Roman Church for primacy in Renaissance England), but somehow Sanrio pulled it off…

Whoa there, Alice! One thing at a time. I don’t think death rays are really part of the costume, at least not for impulsive four-year-olds….
