Doesn’t say much for Ruthie’s singing abilities, do it?

Oh great, now I’m going to hear all those jingles as I’m trying to go to sleep…thanks.

When I was a kid I loved hearing the same songs over and over again. I paid for it when I was forced to hear rap songs at work on a once-an-hour rotation. Just reinforces my view that only babies need to hear the same song over and over again.

Those jingles are EXPENSIVE to create.

Talk about earworms….

The one that sticks in my mind is: “One Hour Matrtizing.”

Makes you wonder where the yellow went……

… and I never use sarcasm.

When I was in the 3rd grade, I would sing the jingles to a number of commercials I saw on tv. The sad reality is that I can still recall a couple of them right now. The teacher used to tape record me. She told me she wanted to hear my voice. Truth, she wanted to prove to my parents how talkative and annoying I was in class.

I had forgotten that verse of the seat belt jingle!

I could never figure out why anyone would want to be an Oscar Meyer wiener. You would get eaten.

I ended up watching the Cracker Jacks commercial since it was the only one I didn’t recognize. I still don’t recognize it but it’s really cute.
