Yep, this is better. I understand what Neathery is going for in the format, but GoComics doesn’t seem to like it. Better if he did two separate uploads two days in a row to keep the higher quality.
Ah, the text was fixed! Thanks be to Aaron. I recognize some of that, like a few lines are a salute to great speeches of Olde. Henry the 5th, Saint Cripsin’s day speech. Excellent art, looks like something from Dupis or the old comics about princes wandering about. Nice shading on the tunics, spears, etc, and the horse.
Hah! I didn’t do too terribly with my transcription from the horribly blurry version:
… Then shall our names, familiar in [her] mouth and household [wathing fighffle, floombonce and whhthfftr gladjack] and [epo bleebo] and the mighty metal [funwater] be in their flowing cups [freshly remembered].
… and shall we stack their earlobes high so that upon the morn, the sight shall make strong men tremble and weak men chunder.

Thank you, Aaron, thank you. This is fantastic. Looking forward to the second half so we can see and read the rescue. Thank you.

Wow. And now for something completely different.
With names like Fignipple and Mighty Metal Funkster, when not warring, these lads would be fun to have a beer with.
Haven’t heard the word chunder in awhile. Thanks for that.
Will a cross dimensional reaching hand be a warning from god or a sure sign of victory?
Is he reaching for a spear to use to rescue Cracked Cat?

As an aside, I would like to see a spinoff of “Whippypip and The Mighty Metal Funkster.” A classic madcap duo!

I love the look of the horse in the frame “… Then shall our names.” It looks like it saying “shut up and let us get on with this”.

Much better with the two pages. Everything is clear to read, and I’m glad to see the artwork as polished as it is here.
