The cat needs to be retrained. Arlo will have to start from scratch…

Apparently in all those years, Arlo never caught onto Luddie’s signals for when he’s getting tired of playing, or is being asked to do too many tricks for the treats he was promised.

Hubby taught my tabby cat Gus how to high five.

Is it just me, or has Janis recently lost weight ????

Even after decades in the US, sometimes US English baffles me a bit. Is Janis’ sentence equivalent to “What I don’t understand is that he didn’t catch on years ago”?

My Tabby has an extra toe on both front legs. The claws on those toes do not retract, as I am continually reminded.

So, Rock, Paper, Scissors is definitely not an option.

Was Arlo going to play some trick on the cat and that is why the cat scratched him?

I grew up with cats. I know that if you pull away something from in front of a cat, there is a good chance he’ll quickly reach out and grab it. I do feel that Arlo has to be pulling his hand away. Cat’s can have “lightning-fast” reflexes when something is moved quickly.
