We have a big tick problem where I live, and a few months ago, in the course of a conversation about my dog, my vet told me not to put the flea and tick drops on my own skin. “Trust me, it doesn’t work.” I didn’t have the heart to ask how she knew that because I got the feeling she experimented on herself, though cool that would be.
A long time ago, I picked up a prescription and when I got home at looked at it, the pills didn’t look like the ones I usually got. I took them back, and found out that I’d gotten someone else’s prescription. Wanting to know what kind of bullet I had dodged, I asked him what they were for, and he said “Acne.” Needless to say, he was extremely embarrassed.

Question: Does the Heartworm meds also work for heartburn too? Just asking because of your cooking rep Roz.

This story was on the Kelly & Ryan show this week. Someone ate a spoonful of peanut butter that was prepared for the dog, hiding a heartworm pill.

I actually thought, going through my morning list of comics, that this was a Pluggers strip.

I accidentally took Sildenafil (generic Viagra) instead of my diuretic one morning. My S.O. was very happy, and lunch was late.

You must have needed a large lump of peanut butter to get it down.
