The reason Marigold is glad can only mean one thing.

Unicorns will one day rule the world and there may or may not still be humans around when that happens.

Eventually the sun is going to go supernova and burn up the planet. This won’t happen for several billion years but it’s going to happen at some point. Humans will either be extinct or living somewhere else by then.

Climate change.

We might know after tomorrow.

Self-replicating nanobots turning the planet into a ball of grey goo.
