Should’ve thought of that before going to bed.

Just get up anyway. They’ll move on their own.

Welcome to my life. I typically have three cats, all of whom love to sleep in bed with us. Now that I sleep in the recliner (easier for me to get up), they come take a turn sleeping on me. They love the fuzzy blankets we have around the house.

Go ahead. Wake up up. We’ll just start tearing crazily around the house. We can sleep all day tomorrow, you know.

With two cats sprawled upon my body on my twin bed, it’s kinda hard to get them out of a good sleep to say “Sorry guys but I gotta make a trip to the loo”. (they know what loo means)

Beagles like to sleep under the covers. It’s much easier for me to get up on the rare occasion I need to. Besides, she is one lazy sleeper. I often spend 20 minutes trying to coax her out from under the covers. She worked hard yesterday at the hospital, so I gave her some extra time today.

Love it! One nice thing about the little dogs is that you can pick them up and relocate them very easily. Once she was widowed, my mom used to sleep with two medium-sized dogs and a large cat in her bed. Kept her warm, she said.

Having had many cats and dogs in my life, and lots of glasses for drinking out of left on end tables when I would get up from reading, etc, I returned one afternoon sooner than Beagle #1 expected. She was drinking out of my glass. I learned to put a piece of paper or something like that over my glass when leaving it. I bet she had been doing that for about 10 years and I never knew.

You have a glass of water next to you, ease your arm out from under the covers and get a drink.

Fluff the blankets, they’ll move. Works on my cats anyhow.
