We might have known that a visit to a furry convention was coming up sometime in this story.

It might not be to your taste, but it might be a good place to sell fake cels or other memorabilia to unsophisticated customers who make impulse purchases.

I hope Sam’s friend might be some help. He does seem friendly enough.

so last story was sam’s interest in the comic, now it’s the convention. two stories from now he’ll have gone full on nerd and wearing latex ears and greet tracy with the words na-noo nanoo.

Yo!…What is up with the three individuals going into this auditorium dressed as animals? A kangaroo, a fox plus an eagle…I suppose they are “models”. The next thing I expect are two persons entering the facility dressed as Dick Tracy and Sam Catchem.

By now, the city in Tracy land should have money in its budget for MCU to have unmarked police cars. Heck…Kojak did…Hunter and McCall did…the detectives on Law & Order have them…come on Mike…get with the program.

Eric is security for the convention in what sense of the word. Is he verifying authenticity of items being sold/traded there?

Just be glad it wasn’t a plumber’s convention.. I don’t even want to think what havoc THAT might have been!

2-DT: I love these things. SAM: I like the chicks who come dressed as Valkyrie or Wonder Woman or Harley Quinn. Something about Lady Sif scares me though. I can’t quite figure out what it is…

3-SAM: Can we come in dressed like this? ERIC: Hats and uni-color outfits? Are you looking for the PROHIBITION DAYS CON down the street? You’ll probably need Tommy guns to complete your outfits.

And if the first story was right,some women in California had a LITERAL “last date” with Dekko.

Please! Just question Eric, then turn around and leave, Sam and Tracy! But I fear you will find some reason, such as hunting down the counterfeit cels, to go ahead into FanFur Con, and we’ll be stuck with a week of it!

FanBoys, cosplay, comics cons, and now a furry con, (with all the sexual innuendo associated therewith). Not all that inventive or original, but even the Locher Auditorium has to book what brings in the bucks; the cops enter, too, as a bonus.

Only we readers here beyond the Fourth Wall may become weary of this setting before the plotline even gets into gear! I suppose Art Dekko has a booth? Will our intrepid MCU detectives detect it?
