“Vanity sizing” makes it impossible for those of us who really are a size 1 or 2. Even a real small size from years ago hangs on me like a burlap sack.
As rgcviper said yesterday, this is (◔_◔)-inducing. I’ll throw in a (-‸ლ) for good measure. It would be so nice to know what size we truly are in the US without vanity sizing. I don’t care if I am a 2 or a 12. Just be realistic, and make sizes uniform.
If people can’t handle being a size 12, then they’ll just have to get over it. At this point, it’s ridiculous because it’s clear that some of the people who say they’re a size 2 really aren’t, and we all know that. So what’s the point then? And then people like karlykru have to look for a size 0 or 00 just to actually fit them, when she likely doesn’t care what size number she is, she just wants clothes that fit.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Have a great day, all!
I’ve never looked into it, no reason to really, but I have been a size medium for most clothes most of my life. Now I suddenly wonder what number I would be, if I used numbers for clothes.
Clothes sizes is something I will never understand – although shoe sizes do make sense and have not changed. I have been an 8.5 since my early teenage years. Boots on the other hand . . .

I miss those days, when I could spend a fortune just to be a “Two”!

I just want all the clothes that fit me to be the same size. I don’t care what it is called.

There is one store that does the crazy sizing like 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5…I never quite understood what that was all about. I think it’s Chico’s.

A number is a number is a number, right? Apparently, not for our favorite Nut-Job/Whack-a-Doodle. Love ya, comic Cathy!
HI, MOM. Happy Late Friday, Clan.
