I guess you never had the honor to hear my Christmas caterwauling…
In space no one can hear you SKREEEE!!!!
(Are they “singing” Silent Night?)
We wish you a merry cricket, and a happy new year!
Do you hear what I hear? “Hark! The Herald Insects Sing”
[Them singing “The Twelve Days of Christmas” is the most annoying.]
A little pitchy and the altos were off key.
Quick Henry, the Flit!
Which one is Buddy Holly?
Bah humbugs!
♪♫ “Crickets roasting on an open fire…” ♪♫
Could be worse. Could be cicadas.
That is a lot of detailed art work. Good Job…uh..cut and paste.
Cricket on the hearth!
DON’T give them any mead or they will never leave.
The best thing to do is to ask them to sing in the airlock. (In space, no one can hear you carol.)
The cricket chorous is definitely all males, female crickets can’t chirp.
They’ll be leaving soon, for the Christmas party on the dog… the Fleas Navidad.
Reminds me of the old movie “Quartermass and the Pit” or the same movie with the US release name..“Five Million Years to Earth”.
Funny!
I love cricket song, during the summer nights, as well as the videos on Youtube where they are electronically slowed down, making them sound like an ethereal chorus.
It wouldn’t be so bad but bug five and twelve are off key and bug nine chirps with a lisp.
