My wife isn’t a big Michael Jordan fan oh but I am. Please excuse a little aside. When asked if the 90’s Bulls could beat Lebron’s Lakers MJ said yes but only by 2 or 3 points. Why so close? Well because most of the Bulls are almost 60 now…(rim shot)
Two major reasons: too many time outs and receiving the ball at mid-court after said timeouts. Is basketball the only sport where the offense receives a major advantage in play from calling a time out?
I have been to two basketball games and fell asleep during both. Something about the constant squeak of the shoes and the rhythmic dribble of the ball echoing. Needless to say, I’m not the biggest sports fan.
Give each team 100 points and play for three minutes overtime. Fill in the gap with commercials and cheerleaders or cheerleaders doing commercials. Not watching either way.
If I’m at a game, I love being there! I yell and scream; it’s great! Don’t enjoy a televised game as much. Maybe I just like to yell and scream in a socially acceptable way?
@Da’Dad- There is no way in the world LeBron’s Lakers of today could’ve beat the 90s Bulls! In fact, LeBron’s CAVS wouldn’t have come anywhere close to beating the Bulls! Neither LeBron nor Kyrie could’ve withstood the physicalness of that era! Kyrie wouldn’t have been able to do all that dancing and prancing and coming through the middle like he does because back then, he would’ve gotten his head handed to him! He would’ve had to totally redesign his game!
I’d say boring. Watching ten pituitary cases run back and forth on a hardwood floor for 48 minutes and achieve a final score like 111-110 isn’t my idea of a riveting spectator sport. Maybe if you have a bet riding on the game’s point spread it makes it interesting, but I’ll just watch paint dry.

If your whole existence revolves around sports, may I quote William Shatner “Get a life!”

Not to mention the basketball shorts aren’t tight and form fitting as the football pants.

Ok, tell the truth. Most professional sports are boring. If you want excitement, either do a sport or go watch kids doing a sport.

So true. And in the last 2 minutes, which can take an hour, both at the same time!
