Timing never fails. 50ās Friday night high school football. Suited up ā shoulder and hip pads, helmet jersey, tight knee pants, knee socks, cleats, coach saying āletās get out there and show these guys some football,ā and . . . drat, gotta use the toilet.
Once my b-i-l when dressed and leaving for work in an office decided to pass gas on the way out the door. Passed more than he had bargained for! (Was late for work.)
Alan Shepard had to take a wizz in his suit just prior to his first flight because NASA didnāt think to have a relief tube installed. They still didnāt have one built into the suit when Gus Grissom went up, so they gave him a condom. (Ref. āThe Right Stuffā)
I remember how āThe Fairly OddParentsā joked about that quite a few times in the episode where Timmyās dad becomes an astronaut and is about to go on a long space mission to Uranus (another ādirtyā joke they couldnāt resist throwing in).
