Before my husband got ill and we were both still working, we’d get up an hour early and walk 4 miles in the morning. I used to love waking up and hearing pouring rain because it meant I could roll over and sleep another hour!
The good thing? Once you START an exercise routine, it becomes MUCH easier to do it! I lost 30lbs+ by taking 45+ minute walks Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I also have been doing 80 bicep curls with piddly 12lb weights and I got up to a 50 second plank on Monday, Wednesday and Friday! (A good plank is significantly better than crunches as it targets your CORE. And my arms are naturally noodly, so 12lbs is good for me.)

Well if you want some exercise, turn on the sound of running water and let the race begin.

Good defensive observation there Darryl. Just hope Wanda didn’t hit the Snooze button.

The kids probably won’t be awake for another hour … so we still have some more time before we have to get up and exercise.

See, I knew he could just wait her out, and that it wouldn’t take long either.

In this case, both the sprits and the flesh are weak.

The first exercise you must plan for is rolling out of bed.

Funny how things turn out.

Now we’ll just hope Darryl’s next line is, "So, as long as we’re both awake . . . "

If you have to choose between sleep and exercise for your health then choose sleep.

In Marine Boot Camp, we used to get up and go for a run. Then we’d have breakfast. Everyday.
