I’m confused… the announcer said No. 45 making ‘his’ debut. Aren’t we supposed to be saying ‘they’? I don’t understand this craziness.

I guess a lot of 3’s were sunk by both teams, but a high school game with a score of more than 50 for a team at the buzzer is a rare one.

Marty needs to fall off the wagon and start drinking again. It looks like he’s put on about 30-40 lbs. and his index finger has doubled in size.

And what is that on the front of Forest View’s appropriately teal colored uni? A block letter M over an F? P? Who are these guys?

Well, at least he didn’t try a rainbow kick.

Oddly, what is being depicted in p.2 is not a “behind-the-back” pass. Does the artist not read the script?

P1 We have an action galore as Fistpump Man makes his first appearance in 2023 while repurposing Old Mannnn Hammmm’s disguise from last spring’s story in order to remain anonymous. Meanwhile the young fan just over Marty’s left shoulder is about to fall for the old “pull my finger” trick.

P2 Toby knuckle arcs the ball over to Darius going to the rim. Is it No O, or O No!?!

P3 Thing, playing for Forrest View this season, quickly gets into foul trouble and is in danger of being ejected from the game with one more flagrant call.

Okee Dokee, let’s go back and look at that team picture again. Tobi will apparently grow up to work for Circ’d Sole, because he would have to be a contortionist to make a behind the back pass with those tiny hands and short arms.

I don’t believe I’ve ever attended any HS, College or Pro sport where the announcer informed the crowd a kid was making a “debut”.

I see the football players fouling out in the second half. I guess they have not mentally shifted gears yet.

Well at least the Milford offense is in high gear. The defense not so much, but as long as they can always score more than they let up. And speaking of letting up, you know that Mopped Up Thorp will never let up.
