Goat missed Rat’s point. Rat was actually bragging about himself, not complaining. What should be faults are features according to Rat.

Rat knows he’s an awful rodent being and takes great pride in what he does.

I wonder why he enjoys it.

Any evolutionary biologist will tell you that we’re all genetically programmed to be selfish and self absorbed as an aid to our survival. Rat is just being more honest than most of us.

Selfish and self-absorbed can be very useful traits for a successful career in life as long as you can avoid any self loathing that might arise.

After careful introspection he’s decided that he’s just fine. I don’t know about rats in general but I know that the cat point of view is pretty much, “I am the greatest entity in the universe.”

Is it narcissistic to call someone else a narcissist? I know I’ve said Rat is one before.

Rat understands himself, and is satisfied with who he is. Goat doesn’t get it….
