People seem to missing that it’s all one joke: that the other shapes make comments about their own shape, but the circle just keeps saying its name over and over in response to everything.
Then there’s Norton Juster’s brilliant little 1963 book “The Dot and the Line: A Romance In Lower Mathematics”; and the 1965 cartoon made from it by Chuck Jones, available on YT.
