This public service announcement has nothing to do with the current plot (I believe), but, to the best of my knowledge, the current plot has exceedingly little to do with the current plot.

Some days it is so painful to read this strip. Henry, social justice has a forum and it is not an online comic strip. Please take your bizarre recollection of what high school sports is about somewhere else. I wish you well.

Just like Milford being stuck in a time warp sometime in the ‘60s, Hank “wakes up” and lets his readers know it’s time to hire more black coaches. Gee, thanks Henry but not only have most of us figured that out years ago, we’re also not NFL owners and GMs, i.e. the folks who need to make this happen.

Ever listen to The Kinks Hank? Give the people what they want.

None of us probably have authority to hire coaches. But at least it has to do with sports! And I’d certainly rather have this than Scott Adams.

How about hire more qualified coaches, regardless of their skin color? And while we’re at it, hire more qualified writers, too. #FireHank

You could start by firing Gil and hiring a black coach.

Now we know why Kaz was written out of the strip.

I remember when history was just history and we didn’t go out of our way to be racist about history but simply acknowledged the significant events and accomplishments.

Had to wait until the last 2 days of February to bring up this subject because he had to tie up so many other plot points.

Where is Henry when there are school shootings? Where is Henry when there are lying politicians?? Where is Henry’s mind????

Someone told henry that oprah has a comic strip of the month award and he believed it. Besides oprah only reads mary worth and herb and jamaal

This is easy. Barajas should just have Gil go have a race change operation. Surely if it’s possible to change two X chromosomes into an X and Y and vice versa, and you can create new genders of different types, there must be a way to re-identify Gil, at least in a COMIC STRIP world.

I’ve been playing a little game of trying to guess who liked certain comments. It’s pretty easy to guess which commenters like the ones that are critical of Henry and the ones that complain about wokeness and anything else that could be considered progressive, liberal, left, or whatever you want to call it. They’re usually the same people who repeatedly have been threatening to stop reading the strip but somehow never do.

I expected to see a lot of whining in the comments today, and I wasn’t disappointed. But speaking of whining, most people whine when they don’t get a chance to read Mopped Up Thorp daily.
