I’m so used to Dakota in pink that it always looks weird when she wears a completely different color.

Nerds come in MANY varieties and sub-varieties. I’m a reading nerd (science fiction). But I’m also a contra dancer and I like math.

Smarts, not nerds. SMARTS. Not “nerds.” “Nerd” is the other n-word. Wake up. Realize it.

As a fellow nerd, I like how Phoebe isn’t letting Dakota make “nerd” a pejorative.

Looks like Dakota’s back to normal after learning Goblin empathy. Good for her.

By a happy coincidence, Calvin also mentions procrastination in today’s Calvin and Hobbes reprint.

Particularly in your bias eyes, Dakota.

At least Phoebe has the foresight to know that she’ll get the homework done before it’s due, instead of waiting until the very next day when it’s due, like Calvin does. Calvin should probably take some lessons from Phoebe.

I was going to enter a procrastination contest, but, eh, I’ll do it tomorrow.

Speaking as a lifelong nerd I can say with complete confidence that nerdity and procrastination are not mutually exclusive.

Procrastinate? Has Phoebe been hanging around with Calvin? They’re doing the exact same thing in today’s comics.
